Jordan von Haslow – For more than a quarter century, Jordan von Haslow has engaged audiences around the world with his charismatic brand of bubbly confidence, dynamic artistry and honest lyrical interpretation. His most recent cabaret, Celebrating… Nat “King” Cole premiered at Davenport’s in May of this year, and recently concluded a five month run at the West End Lounge in New York City. Jacob & Jordan are currently enjoying an open run of their show, Pure Imagination, in the Copa Room at the Tuscany Suites & Casino off the Las Vegas Strip.
Jacob Khalil – If you’ve heard live piano music while passing through the Salt Lake International airport, then you’ve already heard Jacob Khalil. Sharing his original piano arrangements by day at the airport, and singing at a wide host of venues and theatres in the evening, there is virtually no musical medium in which he is not dabbling. Jacob can be heard regularly belting out song requests at Prime Piano Steak House & Piano Bar in Park City, Utah and playing chill jazz tunes at Sonoma Grill & Wine Bar in Salt Lake City. Jacob & Jordan are currently enjoying an open run of their show, Pure Imagination, in the Copa Room at the Tuscany Suites & Casino off the Las Vegas Strip.
Ross Childs has spent a third of his life playing guitar and writing songs. He hails from Texas, a place with a rich music history. Couple that with his love of comedy, and there’s a talented musician with an ADHD-addled sense of humor. He’ll make you sing, cry, dance, and laugh.
Robbie Ellis performs his comedy songs from pianos all over Chicago. He regularly appears at The Paper Machete; and he’s done feature-length gigs at FuMPFest and Davenport’s, and all over his native New Zealand. He’s also a composer; an event MC; a music director for improv, sketch and musicals; and a radio presenter on Classical WFMT. Catch his feature concert with the Oistrakh Symphony of Chicago, The Mid-30s Guide for the Orchestra, on November 24. http://www.robbieellis.net
Matt Griffo from Chicago is an internationally touring musical comedian, combining music with comedic lyrics. Griffo’s show is what you get if Ben Folds and Flight of the Conchords had a lovechild. Griffo sings and plays piano and ukulele. His performances are “both toe-tapping and rib-tickling” (Chicago Sun Times). You can check out his music online at www.mattgriffo.com
Megan Hosack is a singer/songwriter and comedian in Chicago. Megan has performed her music all over Chicago and beyond, at venues such as Uncommon Ground, The Elbo Room, The Second City, iO Theater, The Annoyance Theater, The Playground Theater, CIC Theater, The Catcade, The Juicebox Theater, The Bentwood Comedy Festival, Chicago Women’s Funny Fest, and The Milwaukee Comedy Festival.
